Glasgow Kiss

Bergen · Since 2020

Five paths.
One sound.

Glasgow Kiss began when four experienced musicians went looking for a new voice—and found an immediate creative match in Charlotte Marlen Midtun.

The members of Glasgow Kiss

The journey

Built in the silence.

The band formed in Bergen in spring 2020. The timing forced its earliest chapter into the rehearsal room, creating the space to discover a new identity together.

The first result was Fury, a six-track EP released in 2022. It moved from upbeat rock and darker metal to an acoustic reworking, establishing the range that still defines the band.

In 2025, Glasgow Kiss released the eight-track debut album Down In Flames through Eclipse Records: a heavier, more fully realized meeting of melodic hooks, forceful riffs, and emotional storytelling.

The philosophy

The song has to stand on its own.

Before distortion and production, melody comes first. Charlotte’s words draw from real emotion—loneliness, grief, desire, darkness, and release—so listeners can recognize something of their own story.
